JUST BOOK IT! If you need a sign to make a special dinner maybe for a birthday, anniversary, or to celebrate a special occasion - THIS is your place. Chef Suzuki was FANTASTIC. He is warm, welcoming, and funny! He makes the whole experience special and very kind to answer questions. You’ll walk away saying “that was the best sushi I’ve ever had” Highly recommend to sit at the counter, it only sits 6 people, so book in advance. You get the whole experience sitting counter top and chatting with Chef Suzuki and other guests. We were fortunate to be seated with a wonderful group that booked the same day. You can te...
Hands down the best meal I have ever had! I’ve been to some high level restaurants (Herb farm, etc). They were great. Sushi Suzuki topped them, and then some. Incredible food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff - attentive, friendly and educational in the food and drinks. I cannot recommend this place enough. Make sure you eat at the bar, if you can.
Incredible experience. We were treated to a special preset 20 course omakase meal where we were exposed to some of the most delicious bites of fish, sips of soups, and interesting stories along the way. We paired it with the 5 sake pairing and found it added incredibly to each bite. Highly recommend, will be coming back during a new season to try new fish and dishes.
Literally makes u feel important and rich with how good the service is and the food is amazing and the chefs our fun
What an experience! A small intimate setting with the entrance through a back alley. Every piece of fish melts in your mouth. Each course is different than the last. It comes out at the perfect pace. Delicious sake that you probably can’t get anywhere else in Seattle. Extremely talented chefs and serving staff. Lots of attention to detail. Would highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.
One of the best Sushi restaurants in West Coast.
WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! This, in my opinion, is the best sushi restaurant in Seattle. Everything single dish, every single sushi, was perfect. It was clear how much details they put in, to making this an excellent culinary experience. From the texture of the sushi, the flavor of the fish, the sushi rice, the amount of seasoning and wasabi; the chefs played various combinations that really harmonized and highlighted each ingredients. We got the Omakasei with pairings. It was so good that even though we were full, we added 2 additionals sushi at the end of the night. I regret not trying this place sooner.
Once we can agree that Seattle has amazing seafood, we can agree that calling Sushi Suzuki the best Omakase in Seattle is pretty amazing. The chef is so incredibly humble, approachable and as delightful as his food. The service is unbelievably attentive with Masa being our favorite guy. The dining experience is literally priceless. Please treat yourself to a dinner here. We have dined here multiple times and have left every single time with a natural food high. Did a mention they make their own picked ginger??
Phenomenal sushi here, hitting the right balance of simple pieces that let the ingredients shine punctuated with complex creative dishes that delight the palate. Service similarly strikes the right balance of friendliness and professionalism. Wonderful evening, would not hesitate to return. Bar seats are a must for the full experience.
This spot is a solid option if you are looking for a high-end omakase experience in Seattle. The service and atmosphere are on point; the staff is attentive, and the chefs do a great job with the performance aspect - showing off fresh ingredients (like the kuruma shrimp, well-aged fatty chutoro and otoro) and providing detailed explanations. That said, I think a few adjustments in the kitchen are needed to take this place to the next level, especially to justify the $200 price point. I consistently noticed some inconsistency in the seasoning of the kitchen dishes throughout my visits. Additionally, the sushi was...
Just had a birthday dinner here last night and it was absolutely fantastic. The fish was incredibly fresh and high-quality, the chefs were friendly and engaging, and the staff was so warm and welcoming. An overall super impressive meal and experience — expensive, yes, but absolutely worth it.
Love this place. Chef is very interactive. Good fish selection and the prep on the rice is spot on. Would come back again :”)
Truly one of the best dinners I’ve had, the chefs know exactly what they are doing. Everything was executed so well and all the staff were so attentive. Can’t wait to go back.
Seattle is one of the best sushi cities in the country (on par with NYC and LA) and this is one of my favorites. Great experience, engaging and fund Chef, nice atmosphere and the fish was amazing. They take time to explain where the fish is from and why the selected it. This is definitely worth a trip to Madison Park
Wayyyyyyyyy overpriced and not that good. There are better sushi places in Seattle for half of the price. Good sushi doesn’t need over the top doctoring
Easy 5 stars. Sushi is so fresh and tasty and thoughtfully prepared. The chefs do an amazing job of explaining everything and interacting with guests, whether it’s to answer questions about the food, general conversation, or even sharing about their backgrounds and food experiences. Service is stellar and everyone is very friendly and attentive. Loved this dinner and will be thinking about it for a long time — and I’ll be full for a long time too (20 courses is a lot!)
Sushi Suzuki in Madison Park was the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner. The Omakase experience with Chef Suzuki was extraordinary—personable, humble, and elegant in its simplicity, yet each dish was crafted with such precision and care that it felt truly special. The team supporting him was top-notch: attentive without being intrusive, and clearly proud of what they do. The atmosphere made it feel like more than just dinner—it was a shared experience, with even the other guests adding warmth to the evening. Every course was delicious, beautifully presented, and memorable. We would absolutely return. 100% wo...
One of my favorite dining experiences in the greater Seattle area. The food is always fantastic. The staff are always friendly and on-point with their sake or tea recommendations. The selection that Suzuki-san has curated focuses on quality ingredients prepared to bring the best features of the dishes to light. If you like omakase, you should definitely try this place. It's well worth the time.
